Hearing these words was a call to action the Rotary Clubs of Colchester could not pass up and we are proud to have Colchester Foodbank as our main beneficiary of the Colchester10K this year.
As their website states “We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Over a third of those we help are children.”
As part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust they are working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Please support them by donating money, food and equally as important, your time as a volunteer. See more at their website: Colchester Foodbank
